mile high

i haven't been online much of late because this thing at school was keeping me really busy, up till yesterday. i mean srsly, i woke up this morning and was so tired my fingertips were tired. how can my fingertips possibly be tired, they exist purely to serve me.
though the fun has yet to come, since i have some school camp to go to tomorrow =( i just want to stay home and go online, why is that so hard. this camp will also be preventing me from going to nokia's next roadshow at cyberjaya, boohoo. minus 1 for fun with faiz and wilson.

i skill, therefore i am

Swung by SEGI College on November 19th. From the parking area, Wilson and I wanted to call Skyler (in which apparently she is a SEGIan) to ask the where about the Nokia Skill-A-Thon. It didn't take us more than 3 milliseconds to realize that it was a silly decision since we could hear the live music and an MC mentioning "come and win Nokia prizes" from our parked car. So we used our ears as compass.

conversations that never happened.

ok i lied. these conversations randomly surfaced throughout the melaka trip.
Starting the trip along NKVE:
Wilson: Eh, why are we making a U-turn?
Faiz: ..because Melaka is the opposite way. my bad.
Skyler: ...

Arriving at the place we stayed, the hotel dude was giving out the room keys:
Hotel Dude: Can i show you the backdoor,...please?
Faiz: ...
Skyler: ...
Wilson: ...

the jonker walk jesus christ superstar

When we went to Malacca we pretty much just ate and shopped and ate and shopped and ate.. and ate... and ate. I know the guys would much rather I let them do the food reviews, since they are so obsessed with durian cendol and I never eat durian, but hey! I ate something they didn't!

we walked south into history.

So we got back from Melaka. And for a kick start, it was indeed loads of fun. As a trio, we learned about each other along the way that lead to Wilson being the awesome navigator that navigated us towards culinary bliss around town and Skyler was the cynical finance executive with constant Russel Peters quotes complementing her every move.
It wasn't my first time in Melaka, but i did manage to gain new perspectives from this trip. here are some stills i captured via n96:

Greetings earthlings!

Thanks Skyler for the heads up!
So! Faiz here. Currently a final year audio engineering student and a music enthusiast and I'm not a fan of chicken liver.
I love traveling. Going on a road trip with 2 people you barely know may sound like something you'd never plunge yourselves to do, but i think that's the whole point of a road trip; exploring while escaping from the norm. and im looking forward to hit the road with Wilson and Skyler.

hello world!

It looks like the boys are too shy to write the first post, sooooooo here I am.
First of all my name is Skyler (if you think that is a stupid name you should read this) and I am one of the Nokia Trio, obviously. The other two are Faiz and Wilson but ok we'll let them introduce themselves... whenever they decide to get around to it.... obviously we know the most hardworking one here.... not like I wasn't out all day 'yesterday' and it's 2 am now...

Faiz

Faiz is an avid fan of music, good food, random photography, independent films, semi-logical conversations and a dreamer to an extend. He is also the front man for a local ska punk band Forty Winks and has no insecurities regarding his below-than-average height.

Skyler

Skyler is a fan of cult films who can be frequently found quoting Napoleon Dynamite or singing lines from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. She doesn't have any distinct hobbies but likes to laugh at yo mama jokes

Wilson

Just an ordinary geek guy into gadgets! Currently using Nokia N96! Looking forward for Nokia N97
