ooo crash bandicoot
ooo I am very excited because I got an email update from ngage saying CRASH BANDICOOT FOR NGAGE is now available. Crash Bandicoot!!!
I have yet to play Crash Bandicoot for PSP (well, PSX emulator bla bla) but reviews for Crash Bandicoot have always been favourable.
Tried downloading the trial version through my phone earlier today but couldn't, I dunno if my connection's being funky or I'm doing something wrong or the service is being funky.
Oh well please remind me to later, gotta go get ready for dinner now.
Here is a screenshot because some people seem to hate posts that don't have pictures, I get a lot of flak from my personal blog (no pictures, too wordy, don't update enough blah blah).
o my god, I think I have had one of the most boring chinese new year's ever.
I didn't even eat anything gastronomically amazing.
I did get angpao though, so I think I am going to buy shoes.
...with that I have run out of things to say, wtf.

my phone is more famous than i am
Hey guess what Wilson, I star-spotted too.
Our -well, mine anyway, since you like the 5800 a lot- beloved phone, the N96, is in the Katy Perry Hot n' Cold music video!!
My phone! Not some stupid blackberry or iPhone (I genuinely do not like either of these) or that phone you always see rich spoilt kids with in American tv shows/movies. What's that thing called?
OH THE SIDEKICK. The Sidekick has become synonymous with bimbo with small dog to me. And I like small dogs, but not accompanying bimbo.
run
So this is old news, Leona Lewis performing a cover of Snow Patrol's Run.
Now I personally, love love LOVE that song, and have been very unimpressed with all of Leona Lewis's other songs, so I am actually scared to listen to her version, lest it ruin it for me.
I thought people only had problems like these with movie remakes =/
titanic
Okay you know what I just got home and I have class in 12 hours, during which I have to shower sleep eat and pump petrol, SO. I shall be lazy and double-post what I wrote on another blog for this college assignment =P.
As you may or may not know, I'm majoring in video and animation, so for this assignment I had to write about my 'first cinematic experience at the movie theatre'.
So here goes.
When I was a kid I never really went to the movies often. My dad himself is not a huge fan of going to the cinema to watch movies, a trait he has passed on to my brother and I. We did frequent the now-defunct video rental store Video Ezy a lot though, so it wasn't like he didn't like movies (he is a huge Chaplin fan).
Because of this I cannot really remember my very first 'cinematic experience' at the movie theatre, but I do remember one of the first movies I saw in the cinema was Titanic.
Titanic came out in 1997, so I was 8 then. My brother was 10. Titanic is not the most appropriate of movies for children of that age to watch, and this was before I was attracted to boys enough to like Leonardo DiCaprio, so I remember being very disinterested in the movie.
Our father would never have brought us to something we weren't interested in, so we were with our mother and a friend of hers. I don't even remember if she got us popcorn, what a horrible mother. She ignored us the whole time and we were fidgeting and whispering to each other.
Probably the kind of kid whose chair I would kick and curse a horrible death to if I was sitting behind in a cinema, but come on, I was eight, these people are being silly, why can't they just get married and live happily ever after? Why are they speaking in funky posh accents? Why are they standing like they're being crucified at the bow of the ship?
So there you have it, my first time at the movie theatre.. not the most becoming experience for a future film student I know.
A few years later I saw Titanic again and appreciated it more, maybe because it wasn't in the theatre so I had the freedom to get up and eat/do whatever I like, think I'm fidgety that way.
the Nokia 5800 launch.
Last Friday was the launch of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic (phew what a mouthful), and I was actually very tired from a full day of hanging around campus I felt like bailing, BUT I AM SO HAPPY I DIDN'T! =)
I wasn't expecting much of it, since I only remember one other launch I've been to - and that one was rather abysmal. The 5800 launch was far from.
It was at Pavilion, at the main entrance, so there were a lot of random people stopping and staring [and some cute guys =) and some psycho ones who stand too close
oOoOoOo
I finally got my striped sleeves wilson was talking about,
AND I HAVE TO SAY THEY ARE A LOT NICER THAN YOURS!!!
2009 already?
So far I have done 0 things differently.
I have eaten 1 tub of baskin-robbins ice cream.
It is the 2nd day of the new year.
My car is back after a 3 thousand dollar repair =(. The engine had to be changed =(
I have 4 games in my N96 (brain challenge, pinball, the sims pets, boom blox - which is this weird game where you shoot blocks off platforms, but it is very funny hahaha - oh and asphalt. but I hate racing games so asphalt is not counted.)
On the 6th I go back to school.
Stomped on 7 snails that were all over the pavement outside my house last night because I was feeling angsty.
8 games in my PSP. I have Final Fantasy 8!! oh joy.
and the 5800 launch is on the 9th! At pavilion!!! I am going to eat Chewy Junior!!! oh and uhh enjoy the launch of course. Which I still haven't gotten my official invite for =( why =( I want teh sleeves =( (are they long enough to cover my arms while driving?)
